Scripture: Job 39-40; 1 Cor. 13-14

Job 40:3-5
Job answered:
“I’m speechless, in awe—words fail me.
I should never have opened my mouth!
I’ve talked too much, way too much.
I’m ready to shut up and listen.”

Observations: Job finally realized that God has a lot to say. Two ears. One mouth. Nuff said.

Application: I really think that its time I stopped giving so many answers. This exercise is supposed to be stretching the laity to listen/hear and see/understand for themselves. They have to be able to make mistakes on their own in order to learn. We all see through the glass dimly. It stands to reason that God has something to say to and through the people I lead. Its time for me to be Speechless.

Prayer:    ……………… Amen.
