SCRIPTURE: Amos 7-9; Ps. 104; Tit. 2
Amos 9:13b Things are going to happen so fast your head will swim, one thing fast on the heels of the other. You won’t be able to keep up. Everything will be happening at once—and everywhere you look, blessings!
OBSERVATIONS: This passage jumped out at me because this is my default speed. My head is swimming with ideas, and I move from one project to the next–sometimes before I complete the first project. This can be a bad thing sometimes, but it often comes out just fine because others pick up and run with it. I love connectionalism!!
APPLICATION: Could it be that I might need to hit the gas sooner than I thought? I’m not going to wait for the flash of light and the Lord’s appearance. If he sends the boat and the helicopter, I’m getting on board.
PRAYER: God, help me to know YOUR timing. Help me to hear YOUR instruction. God teach me to feel YOUR pace, and not my own impatient jumping, flailing, and falling.
