I was curious to read the following news information a couple of days ago.

Fourteen members of an advisory board to Jimmy Carter’s human rights organization resigned on Thursday to protest his new book, which has been attacked as unfairly critical of Israel and riddled with inaccuracies.

After I thought about it a while, I realized that at least some of these people were effectively saying that their side had to be right 100% of the time while President Carter was noting that no one is ever 100% right–mistakes are made by champions of even the noblest of causes.

I’m curious to see where this leads as far as discussion goes (see my earlier post about Blogging, discussion, and how the two sometimes don’t mix…).
