SCRIPTURE: Job 18; Ps. 114; Acts 27-28

Acts 27:33-34
With dawn about to break, Paul called everyone together and proposed breakfast: “This is the fourteenth day we’ve gone without food. None of us has felt like eating! But I urge you to eat something now. You’ll need strength for the rescue ahead. You’re going to come out of this without even a scratch!

OBSERVATIONS: Paul was making plans for a reality that hadn’t arrived yet, the very definition of faith.

APPLICATION: Renew efforts for the OnRamp initiative: “The conductor for the train that doesn’t yet exist.”

PRAYER: Strengthen and encourage those who are laboring in tasks that seem to have no point until the day that the point is driven home and the goal becomes one with their efforts. Amen.
