Get Your Praise On

SCRIPTURE: Gen. 47-48; Ps. 10; Luke 19

Luke 19:37-38
Right at the crest, where Mount Olives begins its descent, the whole crowd of disciples burst into enthusiastic praise over all the mighty works they had witnessed:

Blessed is he who comes,
the king in God’s name!
All’s well in heaven!
Glory in the high places!

OBSERVATIONS: Today is a praise day! What wonderful things God has done!

APPLICATIONS: Sing praise to God for the works of His hands!

PRAYER: God, you are amazing. Your love for us is overwhelming, and your actions in our midst boggle the mind and fill our hearts to overflowing. Thank you for your extravagance, and for your challenge to live lives of worship and praise. Thank you for the cross, and for the One who died upon it to make us free, Amen!
