Lots of interesting things going on at South Pleasant Grove UMC…If you are reading the news here on the website, you’ve seen some of it. But not all of it.

Baptisms
Jessie Laine James was baptized on Easter Sunday. Jack and Becca Reed were baptized yesterday. And Colby and Micheal Liddle will be baptized as soon as Colby gets over RSV (pray for Darcy and both grandmothers, who are teaming up to take care of kids during the illness.).

United Methodist MenThe men are gathering to determine their way forward. Forming a Disaster Relief First Responder Team seems to be at least one possibility. They’re also looking for volunteers to help with the Mother Daughter Banquet. its a good time to be a part of South Pleasant Grove UMM!

Stewardship Class
The first lessons of the Stewardship Class have begun, and the turnout is incredible. Lots of good questions, lots of hard facts. We spend more on “stuff” than we should. We rarely tithe, statistically speaking, as a nation. I am very pleased with the class responses so far.

SOAP GroupsThe SOAP groups are filling up. Its actually about time to start up a new one. I never thought they would do this well this fast.
