SCRIPTURE: Is. 15-18; Heb. 10
Hebrews 10:22-25 So let’s do it—full of belief, confident that we’re presentable inside and out. Let’s keep a firm grip on the promises that keep us going. He always keeps his word. Let’s see how inventive we can be in encouraging love and helping out, not avoiding worshiping together as some do but spurring each other on, especially as we see the big Day approaching.
OBSERVATIONS: God desires more than our saved backsides in the pews. I’ve made the mistake of thinking that salvation was ‘enough.’ I’ve made the mistake of thinking that salvation and regular worship attendance is ‘enough.’ I understand that discipleship is a process and a journey of constant discovery. New ways to encourage love and help out. New ways to offer grace and bring light.
APPLICATION: I will creatively accomplish the goals of nurture, outreach, and witness through passionate worship and unleashed imagination.
PRAYER: Hello again God! Thanks for the encouragement and the excitement! I’m praying that you will allow my creative best to become a part of the Kingdom building at Trinity. It was a gift from you and I seek to use it for your purposes. Would you help me do that, please? Thank you, Lord for loving me enough to die for me. It is because of Christ that I pray, and am able to pray. Amen.
