SCRIPTURE: 1 Kings 22; 2 Chr. 18-19; Col. 4

1 Kings 22:17
“All right,” said Micaiah, “since you insist.
I saw all of Israel scattered over the hills,
      sheep with no shepherd.
Then God spoke: ‘These poor people
have no one to tell them what to do.
Let them go home and do
the best they can for themselves.'”

OBSERVATION: God sees a people without a leader, or worse, a people with a leader who isn’t leading.

APPLICATION: Joey, the time you think you’re spend on leading would be better spent in following. Let the One who leads worry about the next right steps. Listen. Follow.

PRAYER: God, I do not wish to find the prophets who will speak words I wish to hear. Neither do I wish to be the prophet who speaks only what makes the people happy. Let your words be my words. Through Christ, Amen.
