God, your grace exceeds the capacity of our human minds and confounds our broken human hearts. Even at the height of our salvation joy, we look for those whom we might exclude. Teach us the lesson of Jonah. Remind us of the question that you asked him: Should we not care for those who are lost and broken? We give thanks and praise in the name of the Christ. Amen.
