SCRIPTURE: Ex. 3-5; Luke 22

Luke 22:45-46
He got up from prayer, went back to the disciples and found them asleep, drugged by grief. He said, “What business do you have sleeping? Get up. Pray so you won’t give in to temptation.”

OBSERVATIONS: Asleep, drugged by grief.

APPLICATION: Joey, you are snoozing, not waiting. Sit up and pray. Don’t sleep. Don’t collapse. Waiting and praying looks different than lapsing into sleep.

PRAYER: God, treat me better than I pay attention. Give me strength to look up. Give me desire to go on, but only in the directions you are pointing. Through Christ, and for His sake, Amen.
