What Are They Waiting For?

SCRIPTURE: 1 Kings 17-19; Col. 2

1 Kings 18:21
Elijah challenged the people: “How long are you going to sit on the fence? If God is the real God, follow him; if it’s Baal, follow him. Make up your minds!”

Nobody said a word; nobody made a move.

OBSERVATIONS: Even prophets like Elijah got blank stares from time to time. But he was able to follow up with massive success as God moved in powerful ways.

APPLICATION: Joey, wait for it.

PRAYER: God, when you are ready, I promise to be ready, too. Not because I’m good like that, but because of all that your Son has done for me. Through him, I pray, Amen.
