OBSERVATIONS: Jesus saw the one who would betray him. He saw the double-dealings of the religious authorities. And he found a way to stay true to himself and deal with the bad behavior of those around him without sacrificing his principles.
APPLICATION: Joey, when the world comes at you with falsehood and smear, speak the truth as you know it. And speak on behalf of Truth with your integrity and principles intact.
PRAYER: God, the opportunities to praise you are without end. The need to call upon you is more and more frequent. Help me to see the charades and to speak the words that will bring them to an end. I ask for the sake of the Christ. Amen.
